1. Outline of the Whistleblower system: 
Any employee or third party can report violations of the HafenCity GmbH compliance rules as well as justified and plausible claims of improper business practices or other serious and/or criminal misconduct to the executive board or our whistleblowing officer, Dr. Malte Passarge.

2. Whistleblowing Officer:
The whistleblowing officer (also referred to as the “Ombudsman”) of HafenCity GmbH is an independent lawyer who passes on any alleged compliance violations to the company, with the consent of the whistleblower. His obligation to observe confidentiality and statutory right to withhold testimony, ensure that the identity of the whistleblower is only disclosed upon their consent. Contacting the ombudsman is also protected and if choosing to make a claim anonymously, please make this request known to the ombudsman.

A whistleblower also has the option of directly contacting their supervisor or an allocated contact person at HafenCity Hamburg GmbH. In case of any doubt, our ombudsman will advise you on how to proceed.
