Showroom Überseequartier

A multimedia and multi-sensory exhibition, which will give visitors a hands-on impression locals and visitors alike can experience a multisensory insight into plans for life in Überseequartier.

A series of drawings and plans of this fascinating and varied area offer a glimpse into the future. There are models showing sizes and designs of the buildings that are emerging in the area between the River Elbe and Magdeburger Hafen. A hands-on display at the central exhibition table gives visitors the chance to touch, among other things, some of the materials being used.

Kesselhaus

The Kesselhaus used to be the energy center of the Speicherstadt, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Today, the past and future come together impressively in the red brick building from 1886/87: in the center of the exhibition hall is a detailed, eight by four meter model of HafenCity on a scale of 1:500.
